Dayna Blazey is a life-long Democrat and proud union member who has served as 167th District Court Judge since 2021. Before taking the bench, she was a felony prosecutor with the Travis County District Attorney’s Office for over 30 years. Dayna has been a voice for our children, stood up for victims of sexual assault and other violent crimes, and led diversion programs to get low-level, non-violent offenders treatment and services instead of jail.

Dayna is seeking re-election to continue expanding diversion programs and other evidence-based best practices, enhancing the Substance Abuse Felony Punishment Facility (SAFPF) Re-entry Court, and improving juvenile justice and indigent defense. Together, we can protect the rights of the accused and victims alike, while ensuring justice is fair and accessible for every person.
